### Dukan Kabisal

Has three daughters. Brook is his eldest.

### Brook Kabisal

A year younger than Linsan, Brook was Dukan's eldest daughter. She had her father's dark hair but the curly hair tumbled over her shoulders and down almost to the small of her back.

### Marin

First wife of mother, first wife of father. Died of cancer. She was a great violin player but never had a chance. She married Junith.

### Junith

Marin's wife. She was previously parried to Tisin.

### Sian Sterlig (Father)

He was thirty-seven when she was six.

### Tisin Sterlig (Mother)

Her mother's long blonde hair was pulled into a braid that had already started to pull apart.

The first violin.

A girl who got the lead in a play.
