2. Years later, she is learning how to play the violin when a friend of the family (to be bad guy) comes to say the factory has caught on fire. Father and mother rush to the blaze, she stays behind with her grandmother.
3. Later, her father is struggling with his new job. Exhausted, he is on the couch trying to find hope. Left alone, she goes into the attic and finds the violin she had made. Remembering it, she plays and dances. Her parents are crying with joy.
4. Kids are teasing her friends. One of the bullies tries to steal her violin which she carries around with her. She lashes out musically, blasting them away.
5. She is cleaning the house with music, pushing things around. Her father comes up and rebukes her for not doing it right. She ignores him, so he whistles a different song and disrupts her.
6. Bank robbery, big fight, nasty things, she loses horribly.
A year younger than Linsan, Brook was Dukan's eldest daughter. She had her father's dark hair but the curly hair tumbled over her shoulders and down almost to the small of her back.
